Save your time and money and don’t apply for any apartment managed by AMC. They will ask you for crazy requirements and then they will say sorry you’re late it’s been 3 days since you applied and we will put it back to the market. 3 days is not enough to submit all the crazy requested documents

It's a nice place to live, but I really want a swimming pool as well as more visitor parking. My lease expires at the end of this year and unless a pool and more visitor parking gets added to the community, I'm moving out. I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because I live here and I kinda like and I kinda don't.

I’m so grateful for the office staff and maintenance staff for continuing to work hard and just everything they have been doing while so many of us have to stay home. I’m lucky that staying home for me is in such a nice apartment with roomy patio and in a great community. I know if I ever need anything the Manager Amity and Rigo the maintenance supervisor are here for me and my family.

When I first inquired about this apartment, Sylvia showed us around. She was personable and very nice throughout our whole stay at this apartment. We asked straight up in the beginning if parking was an issue and she was honest that parking is a bit rough since with a 2 bed, we only receive 1 assigned parking garage and 1 first come first serve spot. We placed ourselves on the waiting list to pay for additional assigned parking but was warned it may take awhile. This honesty made a big... difference since it was already expected.
Pros:
-Management can be contacted by email if not urgent.
-Laundromat has plenty of units and big commercial washers as well.
-Gym is small but great.
-Security guard available most nights.
-Pet friendly and doggie bags available for convenience.
-Mini playground for kids.
-Lots of greenery.
-BBQ area.
-Location.
Cons (more like a heads up)
-Parking. Pay the extra money and get a second assigned spot!! The first come first serve spots are VERY limited.
-Even with assigned outdoor parking, frequently people park there and you have to call towing. Have the towing company number saved on your phone!
-Noise. The apartment building cross the street like to party outside with loud music till well after midnight.
-Kids like to play outdoors and run around.
-Early morning gardening. I work late shifts so I sleep in till about 9am. Usually around 7am or so, you hear the blowers going off. This is multiple times a week. I think they do the apartment in portions but it echoed to our area. So if you are a light sleeper, keep windows closed!
-Apartment maintenance. The apartment does these maintenance duties every few months. Asks you to take everything out of the kitchen cabinets and counters, as well as bathroom. ANNOYING!
-Patio usage. You cannot store things in the patio because it looks bad. Even furniture they are picky about so make sure you take a picture of the product and get approval before buying! As far as storage, they do not want to see any clutter in the outside patios so don't bother storing things there. We had plants in potters on patio, so I dont think those are an issue.
Overall:
Great place to live if, like I said, you are aware of some of the issues that arise. Other than that. The property is decently managed and clean. The apartments are on the roomy side, which is a plus. I've always felt safe here. Pricing was a bit too steep after a few years so we left, or else I would have loved to stay.

Just moved my mother out of this place! We are the happiest mother and daughter alive! This place has such terrible parking, I can never visit her! Some days, I even come by around 1pm just cause I know people should be at work- but the lots still filled. What is going on here? The Twilight Zone? I've witnessed fights over parking, vehicles being towed, crazy homeless people walking around the property! The employees in the office are of no help and can care less of anything.

Hi Maia,
We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. While community living has excellent benefits, there can be some not-so-ideal experiences that also come with it, such as parking. We understand your frustration and we are... continuously working to improve the parking in Pacific Palms. We thank you for your mother's residency with us and we're sad to see her go. If there is anything we can do to turn your opinion of our community around, please stop by our office or give us a call. Take care!
